Twelfth grade students ( SAT & IG ) from Philadelphia National School visited the AUM Campus Monday, March 13, accompanied by their school counselor and one teacher.
They were met by Dr. Nabil Ayoub, AUM President, as well as some of the PR and Registration Dept. staff.
In his welcome speech, Dr. Ayoub pointed out that one of the main goals of the university in its next phase of development will be to adopt and support all the creative ideas of its students. “AUM will qualify students for local and international competitions," he said.
Students attended as well a PowerPoint presentation about “Science Fair Projects,” prepared and presented by Dr. Awni Al Hourani, Faculty of Science.
They were also briefed about all faculties and majors offered by the university, followed by a discussion. The students then had an hour-long walking tour to see and experience first-hand the various facilities on campus.
Students, especially at this stage of their lives, must be conscious of their futures and aware of their choices in education after high school. American University of Madaba is one of the most distinctive options that can be selected by students for their next academic step.
It was the first time that a group of students from Philadelphia School visited AUM. They had an exceptional opportunity to learn more about the features of the university, along with its many opportunities for a quality education.
The visit ended with some giveaways that were presented to students by the university.
