Master’s Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or Applied Biology |
1. A Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or Applied Biology from a recognized university. 2. The successful candidate should demonstrate: • Experience in teaching, supervising, preparing, and assessing practical courses and laboratory activities in the biological sciences. • Practical experience in laboratory animal handling and care, biological sample collection, and the ethical use of laboratory animals. • Strong theoretical and practical expertise in animal and plant biology, animal physiology, immunology, genetics, molecular biology, and protein science. • Familiarity with molecular biology techniques, including DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and basic biological data analysis. • Knowledge of bioinformatics tools, biological databases, and sequence-analysis methods will be considered an advantage. • Experience in animal cell culture and plant tissue culture, including aseptic techniques, cell maintenance, and plant regeneration. • Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures, equipment operation, and biological-waste management. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. · A demonstrated record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals, preferably indexed in Scopus or Web of Science. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. · Teaching experience in programs where English is the language of instruction. |
