American University of Madaba participated in the Jordan Freshers Coding Cup (JFCC) 2026, held on July 1–2 at the University of Jordan. This prestigious national competition brought together 17 universities and 64 teams, with AUM proudly represented by three teams. The event celebrates innovation, teamwork, and the fresh talent of first-year students as they take their first steps into the world of coding.

Representing the Faculty of Information Technology were Hamza Qanadilo, Yousef Ideis, Yahia Almaiah, Masa Alfaris, Khalil Abu-Hanna, Maroua Da'san, and Waseem Dalo, while the Faculty of Engineering was represented by Rama Abdulsalam and Ghazi Jum'a. Guided by senior coaches Bashar Qtaish and Rashed Massalha, under the supervision of Ms. Rana Zayed, and supported by student peers Hayder Al-Jiryawee and Yazeed Suleiman, the AUM teams proudly demonstrated the creativity, determination, and collaborative spirit of the University's first-year innovators.
