As part of the Political Marketing course, taught by Dr. Bushra Mahadin, students participated in an educational field lecture at the Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Sunday, 17 May 2026.

The lecture, delivered by Mr. Aws Qtaishat and his team, provided students with valuable insight into the electoral sphere in Jordan, the role of the IEC, and the procedures governing the election process.

The visit also included a practical simulation of the Jordanian election process, allowing students to connect theoretical concepts discussed in class with real-life electoral practice.

This enriching activity was conducted as part of the course’s asynchronous learning requirements and contributed to strengthening students’ understanding of political marketing, voter engagement, electoral communication, and democratic participation.
