The American University of Madaba (AUM) hosted an Erasmus+ information session led by Prof. Ahmad Abu-El-Haija, Director of the National Erasmus+ Office Jordan, and Eng. Asma Smadi, Project Manager.

The session provided an overview of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) programme, including its objectives, funding opportunities, and proposal development processes.

Erasmus+ continues to support Jordanian universities by fostering international partnerships that advance innovation, academic mobility, and knowledge exchange. The session underscored the importance of faculty development, collaborative research, and global networking, with particular focus on forthcoming initiatives in the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

To conclude the session, Prof. Adi Arida, Interim President of AUM, presented appreciation plaques in recognition of the speakers’ valuable contributions and their support for academic development initiatives.
